Hour of Code

Maryland State Superintendent of Schools, Lillian M. Lowery has challenged all Maryland public schools to provide every student with a computer coding experience and to integrate computing into coursework to teach content in new and exciting ways.

That’s why our entire school is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 8-14). Every TVMS student will experience an hour of computer coding in his or her math class during the week. 15 million students tried computer science in one week last year. This year, we're joining schools worldwide to reach 100 million students!
