The TVMS PTSA and MWMS PTA are excited to present SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, a documentary about the biggest parenting issue of our time. [View Trailer]

“Are you watching kids scroll through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a six-second attention span? SCREENAGERS addresses the most pervasive parenting issue of our time head on—depicting teen struggles over social media, video games, and internet addiction. The film empowers kids to best navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it.”

Our goal for hosting this event is to engage parents and their students in conversations around the technology topics highlighted in Screenagers that are meaningful for our families.

Please join us at Hammond High School on May 1st for a FREE showing of this documentary with table discussions to follow afterwards in the cafeteria. All parents and their school-aged students are invited, along with educators from our school communities.

  • Doors open at 6:00pm, and the film (70 min) will start promptly at 6:30pm

  • Guided discussions will take place in the cafeteria after the film and finish at 8:30pm

  • All students must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older)
