The “Better Shipping for a Better Future” Art Contest is accepting original poster art submissions from students in K-12, illustrating creative ideas about how shipping makes the future better for people and the marine environment. Students can review contest rules and enter the contest online at http://www.namepa.net/art-contest/. The submission deadline is March 30, 2018.
Twelve finalists will receive a certificate and a calendar featuring their artwork. There will be six finalists and one grand-prize winner from each of the K-5 and 6-12 categories. Two of the finalists will be selected as grand-prize winning artists, and they will receive a $100 prize and a United States Coast Guard prize package. Winners will be announced by May 15, 2018.
