Parent/ Teacher Conferences
November 23rd – 25th
A strong parent/teacher connection is one of the most beneficial factors of success in a student’s academic life. We are looking forward to conferencing with you during the parent/teacher conferences’ window from November 23rd through November 25th.
Registration will open on Friday, November 13th, at 6:00 a.m.
Registration will close on Thursday, November 19th, at 11:59 p.m.
Register for a Conference
Log into HCPSS Connect. Please access the attached link, Parent Conference Set-Up Information.pdf, for step-by-step instructions for scheduling parent/teacher conferences or view the short video.
In the Navigation pane, select Conference and click the Parent Scheduled Conferences link in the top right corner to schedule conferences.
Select a time option for each class listed. The conference will be saved automatically. Once you select a time option, all other time options for that class will become unavailable.
To select a different time option, clear the first checkbox and select a new option.
If you have more than one student, select the next student in the banner across the top.
NOTE: Keep in mind the conference times you selected for your first student when selecting conference times for any additional students.
You will not be able to schedule conferences once the scheduling window closes on November 19th. Parents without online access may contact Ms. Peterson in Student Services starting November 13th for assistance with scheduling conferences. If you need to cancel a conference after November 19th, please contact Ms. Peterson.

View Conference Schedule
In the Navigation Panel, select More Options (Family File, Report Card, etc.).
Click the Conference Scheduling (View or Schedule ARL/DigEd) link.
Click the View My Conference Schedule link in the left panel. A page displays a listing of all of the conferences for your student.
To Join a Conference Meeting:
Click on this Canvas link below and follow the instructions to Join a Meeting section. This section describes how to join a meeting using a Google Meet Nickname/Code or a Google Meet link. https://hcpss.instructure.com/courses/77796/pages/g-suite-google-meet.
You will need to log in with your student’s credentials when you are entering the Google Meet for the conference.
Please be prompt, but NOT early! If you come to the Google Meet while the teacher is still in another conference, you may get denied entry. Please wait patiently and do not retry to enter the Google Meet, as the teacher will see you are awaiting entry and continuous attempts may cause the system to lock you out.
Should you have technical difficulties, please email the teacher. During the conference window times, assistance will also be available in our breakout rooms for any parent who is experiencing technical difficulties and/or needs help or support accessing their conferences. The Conference Technical Assistance Google Meet Code will be sent the morning of conferences.
