Information and submission deadlines for Black History Month interactive activities will be sent to students at the beginning of next week through Canvas. Below is a list of some of the activities in which your student may participate.

• Playlist: songs that celebrate being black or exhibit black pride
• Video: what Black History Month means to TVMS
• Arts Gallery: creating art, an original song, or original poem to represent this year’s national BHM theme: The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity
• Cookbook: submit a recipe, picture, and a brief description of how this recipe celebrates your black heritage
