The SECAC (Special Education Citizens Advisory Council) Educator Awards are on May 1, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at River Hill High School. Every year, SECAC allows parents and staff to nominate staff members who have gone above and beyond in the support they give to HCPSS students with disabilities.

The fifth annual Thomas Viaduct National History Day took place on Wednesday, February 6th.

Reminder that Lifetouch Photography will be at TVMS to photograph students on Friday, March 22nd.

​​​​​​​The Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (MISA) is Maryland’s new NGSS-aligned standardized science assessment that replaces the MSA Science test. TVMS students in grade 8 will participate in MISA on Monday, March 18th, and Tuesday, March 19th.

HCASC invites middle and high school students interested in student leadership and service opportunities to attend the Howard County Association of Student Councils (HCASC) meetings the 2nd Wednesday of every month, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Homewood Cafeteria, 10914 MD 108, Columbia, MD 21042.

Rising 9th grade students who will be attending Hammond High School are invited to audition for the Dance Company and Upper Level Placement.

Join us for the next PTSA meeting on Wednesday, March 6th, at 6:30 p.m., in the Media Center. We will be discussing the quarter auction, food truck festival, family game night, and current events.
