All HCPSS students are invited to attend the Howard County Association of Student Councils’ meetings every month, the 2nd Wednesday of the month, for 30 minutes before the meeting.

Career Academies Information Sessions

Learn how the Career Academies provide high school students with opportunities to earn college credit, scholarships and industry certifications, participate in worksite and mentorship experiences, and become creative problem solvers by participating in hands-on project based learning.

Student Delegate Opportunity

Are you passionate about student leadership? Are you someone who wants to voice your opinions and make a difference? Do you want to be a part of making history? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are the right person to step up for the Student Delegate leadership opportunity.

Alpha Staff Recipients

Is there a TVMS staff member who is making a difference in your student’s life? Please nominate them for Alpha Staff. Eligible to be nominated are teachers, counselors, office staff, custodial, and administrative staff. Staff can be nominated in the classroom and/or school community.

Grow Strong - Future Thinkers

Throughout the school year, students learn about their strengths’ themes and how to use their strengths toward personal success and goals. Although students have each of these strengths within themselves, certain themes have been identified as their top three strengths.

Yearbooks Are on Sale – Discount Price Until January 31st

Order the TVMS 2017-2018 yearbook featuring color photographs that highlights the students and events celebrated throughout the year! Soft cover yearbooks start at $20; after January 31st, the price will increase to $25.

TVMS School Store

The School Store opened on October 27th. Throughout the school year, students earn Den Dollars for showing P.R.I.D.E. (Personal Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Diligence and Excellence).

Federal Impact Aid Survey Forms – Due November 28th

HCPSS receives funds from the federal government to operate and maintain our schools and enrich our school programs for students enrolled in the HCPSS prior to the deadline and if parents are employed on federally owned property in the State of Maryland or are an active duty member of the military anywhere in the world.
